Suck it up buttercup

You will mess up!  Sorry, but it's inevitable. At some point you will mess up.  The key is to get over it and move on.  
This can be said for most things in life; diet, work or even cooking.  You just need to cowboy up and try again.

Your little one most likely notice and still look up to you like the superhero you are to them.

If you let it get to you, it will distract you from everything, even your precious little one.  Life's short don't dwell on things.

Don't waste a nice day

If it's nice out, get outside!  No one likes being cooped up all the time and if you miss one day, you don't always know if tomorrow will be nice out. 

Friday afternoon we went to the Phiily zoo even though the forecast was occasional rain.  Know what, it drizzled for about 20 minutes. That's it!  We just hung out in the aviary for a bit.  So it was a great day. Also, not a lot of people where there, probably because of the weather forecast.

Intro

I am the father of a beautiful little girl named Charlotte. As of now she is 18 months old and already a handful.  
Last year I abruptly left my job of 9 years without having another job lined up ( big mistake).   I do have a couple of part time jobs now, but if I'm lucky it's 2 days a week and mostly weekends.  So I now spend most of my days with my little one.  
Charlotte is my first (right now only) kid so I am still new at this. I have learned new things that now seem obvious.  I realized that I should pass along the things I learn to others to help them out.
